About Me

I am Faculty at the Institute for Self-Psychology and Relational Psychoanalysis ISIPSÉ in Rome and Milan, Italy, where I teach “Infant Research and Psychoanalysis”, “Psychoanalysis and couple psychotherapy” and “Clinical applications of Attachment Theory”. I am member of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP) and International Association for Psychoanalytic Self-Psychology (IAPSP). I am teaching fellow in “Psychopathology of Couple and Family Relations” and “Clinical Psychology” at Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Medicine and Psychology. I trained as a Psychologist in Rome, at “Sapienza” University, where I received my doctorate (Ph.D) in Dynamic, Clinical and Developmental Psychology, and my psychotherapeutic training (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology. I completed my psychoanalytic training at the Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis at the Institute for Self-Psychology and Relational Psychoanalysis ISIPSÉ in Rome. My first academic contribution regarded the attachment research in adulthood, with several articles, chapters, and books published on attachment in couple relationships and couple’s psychotherapy. When my studies met relational psychoanalysis, I deepened the intertwining of the psychoanalytic roots of attachment theory and other contemporary psychoanalytic perspectives. In recent years, I have been expanding the scientific dissemination of my reflections through articles, lectures and other projects. I have never completely abandoned my research focused on attachment disorganization in couple’s relationship.

My private practice is in Avellino, where I work with couples and adults.
